CrossCore – Bodyweight training with rotation
This class uses your own body weight to train your muscles.
Bodyweight exercises are a great choice because they’re easily modified to challenge any fitness level. On the CrossCore®, each participant is able to work at his/her own maximum. The individual can modify the workout in many ways. Changing the angle of work allows the participant to determine how much of his bodyweight is being lifted. In addition, performing the exercises faster or super slow, can make even the simplest exercise can be more challenging.
Everyone wants to work the “core.” This means more than just abdominal muscles. In fact, at least 29 muscles make up the “core,” and bodyweight training can be used to engage all of them. Such exercises result in better posture and improved athletic performance. You can increase core strength, agility and performance by including rotation.
